Join us for the Kids Run & Fun Zone presented by CHOP at the Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run!

The whole family is welcome on race day to the Kids Run & Fun Zone presented by CHOP at the Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run on Sunday, May 3.

Bring the kids down to the Finish Line in the Navy Yard where the festivities start at 7 a.m. Fun events for your little runners include the Kids Run & Fun Zone presented by CHOP and dashes for all ages. Fun activities like face painting, clowns and more will also be included.

Commemorative T-shirts are available for the first 500 participants and all children’s run participants will receive refreshments.

Entry fee is just $10 per child (Ages 2 and under FREE).

Children ages 2 to 5 will be in age appropriate dashes. Fun Miler Participants must be ages 6 to 12. This event is for children under 12 only. If you are over the age of 12 you cannot register for this event.

Online registration closes April 27, but you can also register at the Health & Wellness Expo in the Kids Fun Zone presented by CHOP (May 1 and May 2) or register at the FINISH line at 6:30 a.m. on Race Day.

Event day schedule (May 3, 2026):

Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Navy Yard
Festivities or Kids Activities start at 7 a.m.
Children’s Run starts at 7 a.m. (ages 6 through 12)
Age-Group Dashes at 7:30 a.m., 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. (ages 2 through 5)
All Children’s Fun Zone Activities will end by 11 a.m.
