Students Run Philly Style

The ambitious young students who are part of Students Run Philly Style are now a fixture of the Blue Cross Broad Street Run. Students Run Philly Style is the only mentorship program in Philadelphia that provides long-distance run training to help young people succeed in life. Students are connected with adult mentors who help them imagine and accomplish goals beyond their dreams.

Impressively, Students Run Philly Style has served over 2,500 students since its inception and shown the following significant outcomes:

  • reduced BMI;
  • improved cardiovascular fitness;
  • improved flexibility;
  • higher self-esteem;
  • healthier eating habits;
  • students like school better and are more focused.

Give your favorite young runner a shout along the race course at this year's Blue Cross Broad Street Run!
